About

This website is a space for thinking out loud.

I write about the tension between who we are and who we're expected to be. About doubt, ambition, discipline, identity, fear, growth, and the quiet conflicts we carry every day.

I'm not interested in motivational noise or ready-made answers. I'm interested in honest questions — the kind that make you uncomfortable before they make you clearer.

Writing is the medium. Sometimes it takes the shape of a poem. Sometimes a story. Sometimes an essay. The form changes; the impulse doesn't. It is always an attempt to articulate what would otherwise remain unspoken.

I try to speak in every language expression allows. I write in Turkish and English; poetry is my most natural language. I speak Arabic at a conversational level and I am currently learning French. The language changes, but what I seek remains the same: to say what would otherwise remain unsaid.

Some pieces will be reflective. Some analytical. Some personal. All of them are attempts to understand what it means to live deliberately instead of automatically.

If you are trying to build yourself instead of performing yourself, you'll probably feel at home here.

If you believe questions can be more honest than answers — if you believe expression, in any form, can ease the weight we carry — come.

This text was not written in isolation. It is completed where it is read.
