Acrylic on canvas with raised textures·October 2026
Every crossing offers another direction; none tells us where to arrive.
Broad currents of orange, rose, blue, and gold sweep across the canvas, interrupted by dark bands and patterned diagonals. Raised flower forms punctuate their intersections. Circles occupy separate pockets of colour, suggesting small worlds along the way.
The lines invite the eye to follow them, then carry it towards another crossing. Wide, flowing passages give way to enclosed spaces and intricate surfaces. The painting suggests a geography discovered through wandering, where a detour may become more absorbing than the route that first drew us in.
