An eye above, a bloom below, and no quiet place for the gaze to rest.
A green eye stretches across the upper edge between two tall, marbled forms. Below, an enormous red flower opens into the foreground. A smaller white bloom sits among intersecting planes of turquoise, cobalt, red, and white.
The shifts in scale make this garden unfamiliar. The small flower invites a closer look; the eye above seems to return it. Raised petals and swirling textures interrupt the sharp geometry, drawing attention from one surface to another. Looking becomes an exchange: the longer we study this world, the less certain we are of being its only observer.
